How to Get to Erciyes Ski Resort from Kayseri

One of Erciyes' biggest advantages is how easy it is to reach. The ski resort is about 25 km from Kayseri city centre, and Kayseri itself is well connected by air, coach and rail.

By plane

The fastest option is Kayseri Erkilet Airport (ASR). There are regular flights from Istanbul — from both Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gökçen — and some seasonal routes from other cities. The airport is very close to the city centre, so you can be at your hotel shortly after landing.

By coach

Coaches run to Kayseri bus station from Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir and many other cities. From Ankara the journey takes around four hours, and overnight coaches arrive early in the morning.

By train

Kayseri lies on the railway line running east from Ankara, and trains such as the Doğu Ekspresi stop here — a scenic, relaxed alternative.

By car

If you drive, the road from Kayseri up to Erciyes can be covered in snow and ice in winter. Winter tyres are essential; carry snow chains and check the weather before you set off.
